So if you read my past post about installing snow leopard, i have now got a working snow leopard system with sound, network and nvidia GTX 260 install and working, this took me a number of installs and work arounds.
#1 when follow this guide, when you get to the section "DSDT, Audio and remaining fixes" do in click on "SleepEnabler" this is because when you update from 10.6.0 to 10.6.2 you machine will stop working. i found it easyer to just not install, update and then install this file.. i will update later the commands needed to install this update which will fix your Computer Shutdown, and Sleep.
#2 When you get "DSDT quick guide" just copy the file from your flash drive install, this will get your sound working!
Other than that everything is working.
